There are many opportunities to get involved with Advertising at Hal-Con. Have your logo added to our t-shirts, convention programme, SWAG bag, and other merchandise.

Art Show Entries

Entries for our Art Show are now being accepted. Please ensure that you submit the following.

Entry information:
*Name of piece
*What it is (picture/sculpture/etc)
*For sale or not for sale
*Any other info to be put on an index card sized paper (author bio, etc)

Sponsorship & Partnership Opportunities

There are multiple ways to contribute to Hal-Con's success. We have a need for both partners and sponsors to participate at the convention.

Sponsorship – we define a Sponsor as a person or company who can infuse working capital into our organization.

Partnership – we define a Partner as a company who may not be able to offer direct financial assistance, however can offer trade for goods and/or services in equivalent value.

Volunteering

Hal-Con is entirely run by hard working volunteers. This huge event is managed by a small team: Jennifer, Amanda, Baha, Travers, Matthew and Riker Jen.

You can donate your time to the convention. Whether for a few hours or for the whole weekend—just let us know! You’ll get a nifty t-shirt and loads of thanks.

We currently need volunteers for:

Convention planning
Runners, gophers
Registration desk
Area Monitors
Merchandise table staff
Security
First Aid
Student Representatives at local schools
Gaming GMs/DMs
Personal Assistant to our Guests
Many more

Contribute to our "Swag" Bags

Attendees of the convention will be given a SWAG Bag upon entry, full of goodies distributed by sponsors and local participating companies. If you choose to advertise on the bag itself, your company logo will appear alongside our partners and sponsors.

If you would like to contribute any materials to our welcome bags, please ensure you have at least 1800 pieces that you can offer (to make sure all attendees receive one).

Advertising on the "swag" bags: $300

Item insert for the "swag" bags: $ 25 (per item)
(example: If you place two [2] different items in all bags, then you would pay $50)
